Rabbit Island has a well maintained picnic area with tables, shelter, toilet, rain water tank, bush walking tracks & beaches.
Fishing is allowed on the islands.
Arthur has been in the Seaforth area for 35 years. For the last 20 years Arthur has operated Seaforth Fishing Tours, thus spending thousands of days in the local waters. Arthur holds an open Coxswain ticket. He has always maintained a keen interest in the local history & wildlife.
After 20 yers as a fishing guide, Arthur wanted to share the pristine beauty of the Newry Islands National Parks & local waterways, thus deciding to establish Seaforth Island Charters .With it’s rich local history & abundance of wildlife, people of all ages can come & experience this unique part of Australia.
Seaforth Island Charters operates a 7.5m aluminium barge with forward ramp for easy access/egress. This allows for walk on walk off & is also wheelchair friendly. The barge has 8 water tight compartments for added safety & is fitted out with all the latest safety equipment, navigational aides & PA System.
